BMW has announced its interpretation of the four-door coupé. First unveiled in concept format, back at the 2007 Shanghai motor show as the Concept CS, the concept fell foul of the global recession before resurfacing at Beijing last year – again, in concept format.
Nissan has posted a second video of the Juke-R conversion on its Facebook and YouTube pages, highlighting the transfer of technology from the Nissan GT-R sports car to the Juke crossover. As you can imagine, it gets pretty complicated. In the video, Nissan engineers and managers talk about what it took to put the 485-hp V6 engine, all-wheel-drive system and all of its controllers into the Juke.
The 2014 Degler calendar mounted on the wall of the Car Design News office serves up a nicely-shot image of one of Bertone's significant concepts each month. But next year's calendar has taken an altogether different direction: 'Carros de Cuba - a tribute to the cars that have survived over half a century on the island thanks to the inventiveness of the Cuban people.'
The Degler calender is the work of automotive photographer Piotr Degler Jablonski. For the 2015 edition, he spent a month traveling across the island of Cuba, meeting mechanics and car enthusiasts and documenting the eye-catching automotive landscape.
